PISZKEI PAPER MILL S.A. started its operation during 1925 and since then is continuously and successfully present in the Hungarian paper market.

In 1973 the Finnish President Kekonen inaugurated what is today the New Mill with 4 paper KARHULA (FINLAND) machines with finishing, converting and infrastructure.

By the end of 1993 through an International Tender the 51% was transferred to Panos Zeritis and as of March 1995, Zeritis Group owns 100% of the Mill.

PISZKEI PAPER MILL S.A. is the only integrated tissue producer in Hungary with leading position in recycled tissue paper and products in Hungary, exporting to 30 countries fine papers and specialties production is also important part of its activity.

The Mill is located on the Danube riverbanks, 60 Km NW of Budapest on the old highway No 10 to Vienna. The land belonging to the Mill is 421.000 m2 including 54.000 m2 outside warehouses with its own state railway connection and a private line. The buildings of the company cover 43.000 m2 out of which 2.300 m2 are offices and services and the rest 40.700 m2 industrial.

The Company also owns 6 warehouses in Hungary.

The Mill can produce annually 74.000 tons of paper on its 4 paper machines and is also purchasing another 5.000 tons of special qualities paper mainly from the sister company THRACE PAPER MILL S.A. to cover special converting and market needs.

Its main raw material (90%) is recycled waste paper which is secured at preferential prices by the sister company "BUDAFOK RECYCLING".

PISZKEI PAPER MILL S.A. is producing paper in rolls and sheets and various paper products.

A water system to clean the Danube water and the effluent of the Mill. The Mill receives electricity by the Grid at High Tension and transforms it to medium and low Tension (380 V/ 50 cycles). Roomy canteen and sports facilities for the personnel make part of the infrastructure.
