The company started its operation in 1900 with one small paper
machine in the town of Belovo, 90 km from
Sofia on the road to Plovdiv.
In 1947 the factory was
renamed to State paper plant "Dimiter
Blagoev".
The first wide expansion was realized
in the period 1968-1972 with the installation
of four new paper machines, one 20.000
tons per year M.G. Voith - Austria, one
Tissue 10.000 tons per year Beloit - Italy
and two Greaseproof from USSR.
The investment was completed
with infrastructural installations (water
and effluent treatment, steam, air, workshops,
warehouses, etc.) finishing and converting
equipment for household tissue products
(toilet rolls, napkins, handkerchiefs,
kitchen, diapers, wadding, etc.).
